Relative Humidity
Just to clarify one teeney weeney point that seems to have some people confuzzled. Although Houston is not AS humid as some other places in the world like Lumpy Koala, but the relative humidity in Houston sure is a damned sight higher than other places in the world. Houston is hot most of the year, and it is NOT a dry heat, quite the opposite!
As quoted from Mr Goonsman (or is that Groomsman?), Adam Giles... 'Nov average: KUL=97% IAH=84%... Only 84% humidity? Bah, easy :-)'
November will not be as bad, but seeing how the weather has been this year be prepared for anything, and contact us a week or so beforehand (or check the weather online) for an update on weather in the area before you pack... and LEAVE THE SOCKS AT HOME!
Nor could a little lick, which is what I had originally typed.
(Kio and pugs to the rescue!!!)
I am SO confused by this recommendation. Does going sockless somehow prevent suffering from humidity? Does this balance out the suffering of even sweatier shoes?
Or does this mean I can show up for the ceremony in a suit and Birkenstocks?
