By Air:
Bush Interconinental Airport (IAH): IAH is situated North of downtown Houston, approximately 20 minutes from downtown (on a good day!).
If you are hiring a car... get a GPS! Take either I-45 or Higway 59 South towards Houston. Your exit will depend completely on where you are staying.
Taxi's are always an alternative and a cab from IAH to downtown will cost around $48.
As an alternative, contact Mike or Angel and we will arrange for someone to pick you up. The more people who let us know when they arrive, the easier it will be be sure that someone will be there to pick you up!
William P. Hobby Airport (HOU): Hobby is more of a local airport, catering to flights within the lower 48 (mainland USA). From Hobby, take I-45 North to Houston. Hobby is about 10-15 minutes from downtown Houston.
Taxi's from HOU to downtown will cost around $30.
Again, if you are arriving in Houston and not hiring a car, contact us!
Houston Public Transport is not well distibuted, and locations are not very close together. Cars are almost a must to get around in Houston!
There is also a good bus service from both IAH and HOU which is both efficient and cheap. Here are links to the various routes and schedules:
