Background:

Born in Belfast, raised mainly in Paris (with a stint in Scotland), Mike graduated highschool in Houston only to return to the old world to study Electronic Engineering, graduating with a masters and not a clue on how to be an engineer. Mike now spends his time pretending to know what he does as a consultant at Hewlett Packard, helping bring in the required Toona money for the house owner, Princess Wazzila.

Ex-attorney with the Texas Senate and double pug momma. Anne, who recently took a job as Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston, met Angel at the Rice University student newspaper.

Background:

Recently married himself, Sanjay sells cheap Indian IT labour to big US companies, is an avid sportsman, which is how he met Mike at University, where they set up and ran the King's basketball club for a number of years. This then led to them setting up, and ultimately closing down, a semi-successful new media company in London.

Background:

Newspaper reporter and veteran jewelry-maker, Janette lives in Norfolk, Virginia and befriended the bride at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Background:

Adam Giles, master of intrigue or perhaps just something in IT, is a long-time Londoner who moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, last year. Adam and Mike met on their engineering course at Kings and have followed each other through several differnt companies since graduating.

Background:

Lourdes is a nurse, cancer center administrator, and general troublemaker, lives and works in both Houston and Southeast Texas. Joseph Kong, MD, is a radiation oncologist also living and working in Houston and Southeast Texas, married Lourdes in 2002.

Background:

Mary Geehan is the live-in administrator of The Geehan Home for Loved Animals in Houston. Tom Geehan, PhD, is a chemical engineer, turned corporate IT Director, and competitive amateur cyclist, also lives in Houston.

Background:

Patrica O'Doyle, a universalist minister, met the Geehans when they lived in Anchorage, Alaska and subsequently has become a very close family friend. Pat was also the Officiant at the wedding of Kieran and Deahna Geehan, Kieran being Mike's elder brother.
